It’s been 18 years since Google debuted its first advertising product. The goal then was the same as it is today — to make it easier for people and businesses to connect online.  A search for  eco-friendly stationery ,  quilting supplies , or a service like a  treehouse builder  gave us an opportunity to deliver ads that were useful and relevant in the moment.
